Heath's Story

Hi, my name is Heath Tackett and I am 11 years old. My birthday is June 9th. My favorite thing is WWF--World Wrestling Federation. I want to become a wrestler someday just like some of my favorites, such as Owen Hart(whom I will miss, he was a hero to me), Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Al Snow, who is from a town near where I live. I have all of these dreams and will accomplish them even though I have mild cerebral palsy. It limits me some but I try not to let it and with therapies I will overcome those limits. I go to horseback riding therapy and I love it. They are teaching me how to ride the horse correctly and we go on trail rides. I also have ADHD, ODD(Oppositional Defiant Disorder), Asthma, and strabismus(which affects the muscles in my eyes). I also had an emergency surgery when I fell off the monkey bars and split my lip open up to my cheek. I am alright now. I am in the 5th grade and working hard on being a wrestler.
